After the LP version was mixed Kevin worked on a new version of Walk on Water with Duke Erikson of Garbage - a passionate fan of British psychedelia. Erikson’s pop sensibility and Ayers secret passion for Spector-esque production fuse perfectly on this uplifting take on the inevitable downs of pop stardom. This poptastic single will be available as a download 7" 45rpm vinyl. A week later we arre proud to be releasing the vinyl pressing of The Unfairground with plastic junkies Music On Vinyl. Well at long last here is the first glimpse of the forthcoming Wrens album. This is a demo of a track called "In Turkish Waters" that the band would later record at Abbey Road studios. Kevin Ayers, the founder of British psychedelia releases a wonderful single, "Baby Come Home" on 15 September, his first 45rpm in 16 years. It is taken from his acclaimed new album, The Unfairground. Ayers duets on the track with folk legend Bridget St. John. The song is backed with the track "Walk On Water". The single is availble as a numbered 7” 45rpm vinyl and is limited to only 1000 copies. It is pressed on heavy vinyl with a hard card art cover and sounds absolutely amazing. For those without a record deck it will be available as a digital download.
